Lost 1.45 lakhs trying to be a gigolo!!

Nafasat Qureshi from Uttan in Bhayandar has lost 1.45 lakhs in pursuit of an occupation that was supposed to fetch him 1 lakh Rupees a night as a gigolo.

It started with having paid Rs.7000 to join a Jaanam Friends' Club to meet new girls where he was told that he could earn money instead of spending it. 1 lakh rupees a night is what was offered and Rs.25000 asked as a deposit to get started.

His first customer who promised to pay him Rs.1 lakh asked him to deposit Rs.20000 as security that he would satisfy her and when he went to do it for her she rejected him as too thin.

He was then told that Rs.43000 further deposit would mean that he could never be rejected by a customer!

After another 10000, 30000 and one more 10000 this guy realises that he is being had instead of having. And complains to the police.

Says Qureshi, “I took the money from my parents on the pretext of doing a computer course. I thought I would soon earn much more and return it.”

Moral Police at it again

photo.cms Now that the IPL is catching everyone's eyes, it has also caught the eyes of the moral police. How can a few politicians allow themselves to be not in the news when the IPL is catching front pages.

Talking to reporters here, Minister of State for Home Siddharam Mhetre described the cheerleaders and their dancing at the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches as "absolutely obscene". He becomes a top contender for today's cap. But he is not the only one in contention.

Actor-turned politician Shatrughan Sinha on Thursday lashed out at organisers of IPL matches for bringing cheerleaders to the stadiums and making a "mockery" of cricket. ( Watch )
"If you are so interested in deploying these girls who dance after hits of fours and sixes, it is better to give chance to the bar girls who have been rendered unemployed after Maharashtra government put a ban on dance in bars," Sinha said over phone from Mumbai. Isn't it funny? Why doesn't he ask why was ban on dance bar put anyway?

mp-folk-dancers The National Commission For Women (NCW) felt there is nothing wrong with the concept but said the stage should be used to promote Indian culture by bringing folk dancers and musicians.
"I find nothing wrong with the concept if it is just for adding entertainment element to the game. It has to be presented in the right manner keeping the Indian values intact," NCW chairperson Girija Vyas said. This image is what she feels the cheerleaders should be?

Well I better switch to Aastha TV.

Celebrity coulpe Malaika and Arbaaz

getimage

Seems like this couple has used Mumbai Mirror to spread rumours that they were separating and Arbaaz was about to remarry. However when the Mirror team realised that it had been taken for a ride, it has hit back in style, publishing the exposure of the pack of lies on its front page. Seems they were trying to get publicity for the launch of some product they were endorsing and were supposed to play Adonis and Aphrodite getting married. So technically Arbaaz did get remarried right? ;)

We have often seen celebrities use some or the other scandal or rumour to get into the spotlight but this one really hits the bottom of the low IQ bucket. Here is their special prize for the attempt:
